Top 5 Paleo Dressing Recipes
Need some ideas to spice up your usual meals? We’ve come up with 5 of our favourite paleo dressing recipes.
- Basil Vinaigrette
This dressing is delicious drizzled over tomatoes or used in zucchini pasta dishes.
Add 1 part basil leaves to 1 part macadamia nut oil and 1 part apple cider vinegar. You can simply finely chop the basil leaves, tear them or add them to a food processor and blitz – the texture of the dressing is up to you.
- Coconut Amino Dressing
This one is simple – add 3 parts coconut aminos to 1 part apple cider vinegar and serve. This dressing goes well with anything, eggs, brisket, chicken, Asian salads…you name it, the coconut amino dressing goes.
- Spicy Jalapeño Dressing
- 1 Jalapeno (or really as many as you can handle!)
- 1 spring onion
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/3 cup macadamia nut oil
- Celtic sea salt and pepper, to taste
Roast your jalapeno in a hot oven until blistered (you can use it raw but we find roasting the chilli gives it a nicer flavour). Once it is roasted, place it, along with the spring onion and lime juice in a food processor and blitz until smooth-ish. With the food processor still running, slowly add in the macadamia nut oil until smooth.
- Tangy Ginger Dressing
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- A knob of ginger
- 2 spring onions
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- Celtic sea salt and pepper
Add all ingredients except the mayo, Celtic sea salt and pepper into a mixer and blitz. Once you’re happy with the consistency, add the mayo and season with salt and pepper.
